Our program is designed for year-long engagement built for multi-sport athletes

Approach

Training three-dimensional athletes. We will develop, harness, and promote the skills needed to play lacrosse; the mind needed to deal with ourselves, others, and situations; and the heart to understand our identity and value is greater than any sport.

Developing triple impact competitors. We will teach what the individual needs to make oneself better; how the team is made better through unselfishness, leadership, and encouragement; and that the game is to be respected.

Mentoring the next generation of leaders. We will establish a mindset and environment of leadership, knowing that sport is just a medium to develop the skills and experiences needed to succeed in the game of life and contribute as stronger citizens in our community.

About Us

Valiant Lacrosse Club is based out of the Capital Region of Upstate New York. It started in 2024 with a vision to see youth sports transformed into a fulfilling and desired journey for families and athletes. We believe that athletic development extends beyond skills and competitionit’s about building character, fostering leadership, and instilling values that last a lifetime. Our mission is to develop athletes who understand the importance of respect, benefits of teamwork, and value of hard work.

The parent organization, The Arena Athletics Inc., and Valiant Lacrosse Club have names rooted in Theodore Roosevelt’s famous speech, Citizenship in a Republic, which is better known as The Man in the Arena. With this we hope to inspire pride in how our players, coaches, and parents conduct themselves.

Lacrosse is just the start!

Values

Respect the game – rules, teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and spectators. We will play the game with respect.

Effort over performance – other teams and players will sometimes be better. Failure will happen, but it should not prevent effort. We will prioritize effort.

Fun must be part of the experience – there are highs and lows of competing. The highs must be recognized and celebrated. We will do our best to make it fun.
