Organization
Our organization is comprised of age-based Teams with each sub-program built with the flexibility to split into graduation year teams. Coaches are assigned to sub-programs for the entire year and position specific coaches splitting time across each team. Leaders serve a variety of functions to ensure the strategic and operational successful of the program.
Teams
Each team is considered a sub-program. With enough players, each sub-program can split into two teams and play in Age-Based and Graduation Year tournaments, but will continue to practice as a sub-program. Provided Graduation Years reflect the current Program Year of 2025-2026.

Sam Tackett
Sam Tackett brings a lifelong passion for lacrosse and a deep understanding of the game to his coaching. He began playing at age 8 for his small-town youth program, following a path similar to many of the players he now mentors. His dedication and skill development led him to compete with elite clubs such as True Pittsburgh and 3D Michigan.
In high school, Sam transitioned from a small-town high school to The Kiski School, a college-preparatory program in Saltsburg, PA, where he played at the highest level of high school lacrosse. Facing top-tier competition like Culver and The Hill Academy, he gained invaluable experience and sharpened his competitive edge.
Sam continued his lacrosse career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he made an immediate impact as a freshman, appearing in 15 games and serving as the designated short-stick midfielder on man-down defense. Although his collegiate career was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his commitment to the sport never wavered. He remains active through summer leagues and coaching, bringing energy, insight, and a player-first mindset to every practice.
As a coach, Sam emphasizes fundamentals, game IQ, and building confidence—drawing from his journey to help young athletes grow both on and off the field.

Nicki Phelps
Nicki Phelps discovered lacrosse on a whim in sixth grade. What began as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion, fueled by his time with Low and Away Pittsburgh, a club program led by collegiate-level players and coaches who helped shape his development both on and off the field.
Throughout his early playing years, Nicki explored nearly every position except goalie before finding his true calling as a long stick middie (LSM). His versatility and tenacity helped lead Peters Township High School to back-to-back WPIAL championships, earning him WPIAL Player of the Year honors in 2018.
Nicki continued his lacrosse career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he climbed the depth chart as a freshman to secure the starting LSM role by the start of conference play. He remained a key contributor until the COVID-19 pandemic cut his college career short.
Now on the sidelines, Nicki brings the same energy and love for the game to his coaching. Inspired by the mentors who guided him, he emphasizes effort, growth, and—most importantly—having fun. His approach fosters a competitive yet supportive environment where players can thrive both as athletes and teammates.

Leaders
President & Founder

Brent Quimby
Brent has five years of youth coaching experience and currently works as a strategy and operations consultant at Deloitte. He also serves as a guest lecturer at a top-tier business school and has provided leadership and professional coaching for seven years. Previously, he was a U.S. Marine Corps Officer for eight years, with deployments to East Asia, Afghanistan, and the Middle East.
Brent grew up with a strong athletic background and understands the value that team sports can play in the development of our youth when done the right way. He was recruited and played a year of Division I football at the U.S. Naval Academy before discovering the sport of lacrosse. He benefited from the athleticism he built from years of playing different sports and the reputation other football players had earned with Coach Richie Meade to make it as a walk-on with the Navy Lacrosse team for a year. Brent never lost the passion for the sport of lacrosse but is far better teaching and coaching it than he’ll ever be able to play it (yes, still limps around the field playing)!
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Brent is a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, MPH from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and BS from the Naval Academy.
Vice President

Bob Keyser
Bob is a High School Social Studies teacher at Shenendehowa High School. Bob grew up in Shortsville, NY and later Stamford, NY and has degrees from St. Bonaventure University and Sage College.
Bob and his wife Kirsten have 4 children – leading him to coach baseball, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse, as well as to serve on the Board of Directors of Duanesburg Little League, Duanesburg AYSO Soccer, and Voorheesville Blackbirds Youth Lacrosse. Throughout all of those experiences, Bob has been focused on providing access and opportunities for all kids to play sports while emphasizing player development and engagement.
He recently was a Director of Ghost Riders Lacrosse – an offseason training program for Boys and Girls Voorheesville lacrosse players. He has also worked to help expand access and opportunities for local girls lacrosse players with 518 Skyfire Lacrosse and SR-71 Flyers Lacrosse.
Vice President

Ladd Warwick
For the past three years, Ladd has been coaching various levels of youth lacrosse and basketball. He also serves as the Vice President of Voorheesville Boys’ Youth Lacrosse.
Having grown up enjoying all sports and general healthy competition, it wasn’t until his own boys joined sports that he realized he had an interest in coaching and mentoring others. Though he never played the sport on an organized level, he quickly gravitated to lacrosse for its team concept, Voorheesville’s leaders, and it’s just plain a lot of fun to play, even at an old age.
Ladd grew up in Syracuse and still supports Syracuse sports, despite how hard that can be. He’s lived in the Capital Region since 2014, and professionally is a Supply Chain Director for a health system. He holds a BS in Healthcare Management and an MBA, both from Empire State University.
Vice President

Mike Molino
Mike has been coaching youth sports for five years, including lacrosse, football, baseball, and soccer. While he didn’t grow up playing lacrosse, he has been actively coaching his two sons since 2022 and has developed a deep appreciation for the game. He enjoys learning about the sport and attending FireWolves, UAlbany, and PLL games whenever he can.
His coaching philosophy centers on helping kids master the fundamentals, fostering hard work and effort, and ensuring they have fun so they develop a lifelong love for the game.
Outside of coaching, Mike is an investment advisor for institutional clients and holds an accounting degree from UAlbany. He enjoys spending time with his two boys, following the capital markets, and is a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and season ticket member.
